First Bend X60
At Bendforce GmbH, we celebrate a groundbreaking success in pipe bending technology: The first successful internal bending of API 5L X60 steel pipes! With our innovative Internal Pipe Bending 2.0 method, we have managed to form high-strength X60 pipes with a wall thickness previously considered unbendable, precisely and wrinkle-free.
This milestone underscores our expertise in processing pre-insulated pipes for demanding projects such as pipelines and power plants. Thanks to our mobile bending system – installed in a trailer or container – we were able to realize this bend with a radius of 40xD, an ovality under 1%, and an angle tolerance of ±0.2°. No wrinkles, no deformations – just perfect quality.
